Mustang Orders Rolling In

The New Ford Mustang isn’t available till next year, but that’s not slowing it down at all. Oversubscribed already, is how to describe the current state of the New Ford Mustang. Ford has planned an allocation of 500 new Mustangs across 20 countries in Europe, with the UK having an allocation of 130.
Ford advertised the new Mustang in the Champions League Final, many thought to be stroke of marketing genius by Ford. The Champions League is the biggest club competition in the world, bringing in millions of viewers from all edges of the globe. The Champions League final was fought between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, fierce rivals from the Spanish capital. Real Madrid Eventually came out 4-1 winners after a 90 minute defensive master class by Atletico, which crumbled in the 93rd minute of normal time when Real Madrid equalised to take the game into extra-time. Real Madrid then went on to score another 3 goals in extra-time to seal the game and win their record 10th Champions League Final.
A great game to be associated with, Ford took full advantage of this during the game by advertising to any prospective buyers to register online for the chance to secure an order for a new Mustang. Within the 1st 30 seconds of the referee blowing the whistle, over 500 people registered their interest.
Registrations closed after the game finished at the end of extra-time, with the total number of registrations hitting 9300. It will be the 1st Ford Mustang ever to be sold across Europe, all but ending the days of importing this iconic car. The lucky few that are chosen will be invited to their local Ford dealership to complete their order.
There will be a choice of the convertible or coupe versions of the car, and also a chance to get your hands on the latest EcoBoost Engine. The 2.3 litre EcoBoost Engine outputs a massive 305bhp, while the hair-raising alternative 5.0 litre V8 produces 420bhp, so take your pick. The Mustang will also come with the latest Ford Sync 2 connection and navigation. You can also expect a few more extras such as; 19” alloy wheels, chrome detailing, black leather interior, park assist and with heated and ventilated seats.
