Mercedes E-Class 2013 Facelift

The 2013 Mercedes E-Class Saloon and E-Class Estate models have had a major facelift with a new eye-catching frontend, a restyled rear view and new sleek rear side panels, in fact there's not too much of the exterior that won't be sporting a new look, Mercedes have opted to keep the roof, front windows and doors with everything else getting the full makeover. The new models for 2013 also feature newly styled grilles and bumpers depending on the trim you choose. Models fitted with the optional AMG package get a much larger, eye-catching grille.

One of the most noticeable changes which may be surprising to die-hard Mercedes traditionalists is that the quad headlights have gone replaced by LED equipped dual headlights, they do however feature flowing daytime running lights which may appease the traditionalist giving the appearance of the old quad headlights.

Inside the new models the seats have been improved which each trim benefitting from better materials and the dashboard gets a stylish revamp with aluminium or wood trims.

The Mercedes E-Class Coupe and E-Class Cabriolet models also get a similiar exterior makeover, featuring the same new headlamps, new front bumpers with more pronounced air intakes, while the rear of both the coupe and cabriolet sport new LED tail-lights.

There is a range of safety options depending on the model and option you choose, with Mercedes offering everything from lane-keeping assistance, active cruise control, automatic emergency braking, Pre-Safe Plus to help in rear-end collisions, adaptive lights and traffic sign assist.

Engine-wise, the ECO stop-start now features on all Mercedes E-Class models, and the new BlueDIRECT four-cylinder engine is also available.
