Mazda Has Revealed The New CX-7 Crossover SUV

Mazda has revealed its new CX-7 crossover SUV at the Detroit Motor Show.
With a 2.3-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine creating 244 bhp, the cheap new car is available as a two-wheel or four-wheel drive with an active torque split.
Designer Iwao Koizumi commented that he intended the car to combine sporty looks with the standard specifications of an SUV.

He said: "My idea for the Mazda CX-7 design was to combine dynamic movement, speedy shapes and a bold presence in one passionate statement."
"Mazda has such a strong sports car heritage that it can offer a crossover SUV with an exceptionally lively and distinctive appearance," he added.
The vehicle will include ABS, traction control, stability control and airbags as standard.
It will also feature a CD player and DVD navigation with a powerful 240-watt surround-sound system ? perfect entertainment for long motorway journeys.
Although Mazda only has plans to commercially release the car in North America, industry experts predict the cheap new car will arrive at European shores soon.
