New Cars at the LA Auto Show

Cadillac Escala

cadillac

This new Cadillac is up against fierce competition in the shape of Mercedes-Benz’s S-Class Coupe. It is available in a saloon or hatchback, sporting a twin-turbo V8. The only question is – will it go into production?

Nissan Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition

nisssan rogue one

Nissan are aiming to steal the show with the new Nissan Rogue One Edition, while celebrating their partnership with the worldwide Star Wars franchise. Nissan have put on a genuinely spectacular stand and all but stole the show. The Nissan Rogue is not solid in the UK but is the equivalent of a Nissan Qashqai in shape and stature.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio

alfa romeo suv

Alfa Romeo has never made an SUV before the Stelvio, but like many manufacturers’s they are have a good old crack at it. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is packed with a monsterous 504bhp V6 turbo that comes straight out of a Ferrari. Run of the mill petrols and diesels are also an option for those who fancy something a bit less powerful.

Jaguar I-Pace

jaguar i-pace

Jaguar’s first ever electric car is modeled on the F-Pace, and it’s called the I-Pace. It has close to 400bhp, and will smash 0-60mph in just 4.0 seconds and benefits from a range of 300 miles – Jaguar estimate that the I-Pace will go on sale in 2018. This is no surprise as Jaguar are so busy with the release of many other new models in the line-up.

Rezvani Beast Alpha

Rezvani Beast Alpha

Nicknamed “the Beast”, it comes as standard with a 2.4-litre Honda V6 that can be supercharge or twin-turbocharged to get up to a massive 700bhp. Sidewinder doors add to the poster styling of the Beast, and with the manic design you won’t find a crazier looking car out there. But it’s going to set you back a cool £130,000.

Volkswagen Atlas

Volkswagen Atlas

This huge SUV courtesy of Volkswagen hopes to get over American buyers excited by providing 7 seats and exterior styling that put others in its class to shame. It is ear-marked as one of the biggest SUV’s ever built and as we know the US love a big car. Volkswagen’s Atlas is un-lightly to come to our shores here in the UK because we already have the VW Touareg and it is already thought to be more than big enough.
