Skoda has launched a new super green version of the Skoda Octavia hatchback, which emits just 85g/km CO2 and achieves 88.3mpg

The new Skoda Octavia Greenline is powered by a new 1.6 litre TDI CR 110hp diesel engine and thanks to its low emissions it qualifies for free road tax.
The Skoda Octavia Greenline also has the new start-stop system, which is standard across the the new Skoda Octavia range. In addition the energy usually lost in breaking is now recovered and used for battery recharging.

The Octavia is packed with new eco-technologies such as low rolling resistance tyres inflated to a higher pressure than you would usually get, the Octavia GreenLine attracts a BIK rate of 13%, making it highly-affordable for many company car users as well.
