The Ford Puma ST Gold Edition
The ST trim-level is the sporty edition of the Ford Puma compact crossover, based on the same platform as the Fiesta, with sports suspension and the same performance 200PS engine found in the Fiesta ST hot hatch.
The Gold Edition is a special, limited run version of the ST with design cues and ideas taken from social media polls in which over a quarter of a million people participated.
The poll asked users to vote for model’s paint colours, decal design/colours, brake calliper colour, interior stitching colour and the lettering on the scuff plates. They were also asked to choose a name for the special edition model.
The new Ford Puma ST Gold Edition is equipped with a 200 PS 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine that can take you from 0-60mph in around 6.5 seconds.
The model is also equipped with selectable Drive Modes including Sport, Track and Eco, a limited-slip differential option, patented force vectoring springs, and a steering spec that Ford say is designed ‘for exceptional cornering response’.
Design features include 19-inch gold alloy wheels, black exterior paint colour, grey with gold racing strip and red brake callipers.
On the inside there’s more dashes of gold, including gold detail stitching on the seats, the interior also features faux carbon trim and inserts.
