Ford Introduce New Ka

Ford has brought forward the launch of its new Ka model, which was originally due to arrive at the end of 2008.     This has been made possible because the new model Ford Ka will have the same platform as the new Fiat 500, which is due to be launched in July 2007.    The new model Ford Ka is now due to arrive in early 2008.

The new Ford Ka will be competing in the small car market, against the likes of the Toyota Aygo, the Citroen C1, the Peugeot 107 and the new Fiat 500.

The new Ford Ka will be offering a range of engines from its partner, Fiat.  Engine sizes will include a tiny 900cc 2-cylinder turbo petrol engine, giving lower CO2 emissions and 60mpg.  

The new Ford Ka model will feature a range of technical equipment to attract young drivers, including a lost cost sat-nav system plus compatibility for Bluetooth phones and MP3 players.
