Ford Extends Digital Radio Range

Published Date: 5th Nov 2008

Ford has recently announced that the Galaxy, S-Max and Mondeo ranges now come with DAB radio as standard in Ghia, Titanium, Titanium X plus Titanium X Sports trims.

The larger Ford models now therefore join other Fords like the Focus, Kuga and C-Max which already feature DAB since earlier in 2008.   UK Car Discount offers a wide range of cheap new Ford models.

The all new Ford Fiesta model plus the Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy also now come with a USB port.   This enables drivers to listen to their choice of music or other audio files stored on memory sticks, MP3 players or mobile phones.   Apple iPod players can be linked by a special connector to enable full control of the iPod’s functions using the main radio system controls.

Markus Pazina, Ford’s navigation and connectivity engineer, said ‘our latest DAB systems and connectivity options provide Ford customers with digital sound quality from a broad choice of media.  We have paid special attention to making the systems simple to operate, so that drivers can access the music they want safely and with a minimum of fuss.’
