New Mini Cooper Revealed

The Cheap new Mini Cooper S JCW GP edition has broken cover and is boasting some impressive performance statistics.
"We wanted to see how much racing character we can put on a road-going car. It was a good exercise to show how you can push the John Cooper Works kit to an extreme and how much you can take stuff out," explained Mini design director Gert Hildebrand to 4Car.
However, even with this performance conscious approach the New MINI special edition still comes with a CD player and air conditioning.
The car offers an extra 8bhp over the standard edition MINI Cooper S thanks to some fine-tuning of the super charged 1.6-litre engine.
To make the most of the increased power output the JWC GP kit also offers a new aerodynamics package with front, rear and side aprons, a new rear spoiler and even underbody panelling.
Only 2,000 of the cheap New MINI special editions will be built, with 400 bound for the UK market.
