Aston Martin DB11 – A New Chapter

Aston Martin start a new chapter with the release of the much-anticipated DB11 and this began with a World Exclusive 1st look at the 86th International Geneva Motor Show.

Aston Martin have been at the forefront of British design for the last 50 years and the new Aston Martin DB11 showcases a fresh new approach based on a new pioneering aerodynamic design language. This new beast bred from Aston Martin benefits from a 5.2 litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that is mounted on a stronger, lighter Aluminum frame. The Aston Martin DB11 is the most refined, most powerful and most anticipated DB since the DB9 13 years ago.

Aston Martin DB11 Engine

Aston Martin has given the DB11 a new 48 valve, 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 that produces a massive 600 bhp and rockets from 0-62 mph in just 3.9 seconds. The Maximum speed is set at 200 mph which is ideal for hitting the local shops or if you wanted, you could head to your nearing track racing day and really put the car to the test.

Aston Martin DB11 Design

The work of Aston Martin’s award-winning in-house design team - led by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman - DB11 pioneers a bold new design language. It is unmistakably Aston Martin, yet fresh from nose to tail. Respectful of the DB line’s immaculate design legacy, but energised by the challenge of creating a successor to head-up Aston Martin’s ‘New Chapter’ plan, Reichman and his team have produced an exceptional and exciting shape that incorporates countless new details and truly ground breaking aerodynamics.

Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman announced that: “Every millimetre of DB11 has been re-imagined from the ground up. The DB11’s proportions have been thoroughly scrutinised, and intuitively measured, to ensure its beauty and elegance, while ground-breaking aerodynamics have been integrated to further enhance the car’s design language. Even down to the hidden detailing, every part of DB11 is designed to create the world’s most alluring DB to date”.
