"I found UK Car Discount through a web search and was initially sceptical, given a number of stories in the media regarding internet based car discounters, especially with regard to service and not meeting delivery dates. Having initially contacted them I took up a number of references as well as doing some general background checks on the business. The helpful attitude of the staff and the results of the references overcame my scepticism and I placed an order for a new VW Passat. The delivery time was quoted as 2-3 weeks and the car was delivered to my door in just 17 days from order. At all times I found the company to be extremely helpful, always kept me informed as to the status of my order and most importantly they always returned my calls. Gary/Brian, I just got back from holiday yesterday.  Just to let you know that my car arrived safely and shiny – just in time for our holiday!  We drove to the airport with all 5 of us + luggage (wouldn’t have fitted into my wife’s car!) The car is excellent and running well.  The gearbox is a little stiff – I can’t remember if it was when I got it – may be from being stood in the airport long-term car park for two weeks?  Hopefully it will ease a little with time.
