New Micra C+C to tour UK
Although UK sales will not start until November 14th Nissan are set to use the last of the Summer sun to help market the cheap new Nissan Micra C+C.
The first ever convertible new Micra will be travelling around the country on a pre-launch tour over the coming month.
The manufacturer has opted for a hardtop convertible option to reduce the noise and security risks associated with a soft-top.
To accommodate the electrically folding roof the cheap new Micra C+C has an extended body and shares only the front wings and bonnet with the standard Micra hatchback.

The launch of Nissan's new drop top comes at a time when cheap new convertibles have never been so popular, but with rivals like the Peugeot 206CC, the Peugeot 307CC and the Ford StreetKa the Micra C+C will have to battle hard for a share of the market.
Commenting on the launch, Makoto Yamane, studio chief designer at Nissan Design Europe, said: "Micra C+C adds a new dimension to the Micra family. Not only does it provide all the style of a convertible, it remains a practical prospect thanks to its sizeable boot. With Micra C+C, owning a convertible need no longer be a compromise."
