New Citroen Xsara Picasso Models

Citroen has streamlined its extremely popular compact MPV vehicle, the Xsara Picasso. It will now be available in just two trim levels – the Desire and the VTX.

Although compact, the Xsara Picasso gives a lot of space and flexibility and competes against the likes of the Renault Modus and Vauxhall Meriva. The Xsara Picasso has 5 full-sized, reclining seats, a boot capacity of 550 litres and 30 storage areas.

The standard specification is good with the Desire model having air-conditioning; four airbags, central locking, a CD player and electric mirrors. The VTX model also includes 15" alloys; cruise control, rear parking sensors, folding door mirrors and electric rear windows.

Both the Desire and VTX trims come in either a 1.6 litre HDi diesel engine or a 1.6 litre 16v petrol engine.
