New Citroen C-Crosser Arrives

Citroen’s new 4x4 vehicle, the C-Crosser, is due to arrive in the UK this July. The C-Crosser will be available in 2 trim levels – VTR+ and Exclusive. Both trim levels come with a range of standard features including 6 airbags, automatic headlamps, an alarm, sliding and reclining second row seats, ESP stability control, cruise control and air-conditioning.

The C-Crosser has a 2.2 HDi/156bhp, diesel engine linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox and can reach 0-62mph in just under 10 seconds. The engine is designed to be environmentally friendly giving almost 40mpg on its combined cycle and emits 191g/km of CO2. It has a Diesel Particulate Filter System that removes all particle pollutants and is able to run on 30% bio-diesel without any modification to the engine. The C-Crosser would normally run as a 2-wheel drive but 4-wheel drive can be selected to give more grip when necessary.

The C-Crosser can seat up to 7 people in 3 rows and has very flexible seating and storage options. Seating changes can be made quickly to give a flat floor and loads of storage space. The C-Crosser has 20 different storage compartments and can provide a load space of up to 1686 litres when all 5 rear seats are folded away. The large boot area has a useful split-opening tailgate which allows for heavy objects to slide in or out easily. As it can support up to 200kg this can also double up as handy outdoor seating.
