Peugeot builds five millionth 206
The five millionth Peugeot 206 has been produced by the French manufacturer at its Mulhouse facility in France.
The news comes hot on the heels of Fiat's report that the nine millionth Fiat Punto has rolled of the Italian production lines.
Since 1998, when production of the low cost Peugeot 206 began, the car has developed a strong following in the hot hatch market.
