New Peugeot 308 RC Z Concept Car

Peugeot has presented a striking new concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month. The elegant Peugeot 308 RC Z 2 2 is similar in looks to the Audi TT and the Nissan 350Z but has a French style all of its own.

The Peugeot 308 RC Z concept has a 1.6 litre THP turbo-charged petrol engine and has a maximum power output of 218bhp, it has a new 6-speed manual gearbox. Peugeot claim it could achieve 0-62mph in 7 second and could reach 146mph.

Inside the concept car the dashboard is very similar to the Peugeot 308 hatchback, although with a leather finish. It has chunky bucket seats so doesn’t leave a lot of space for rear passengers.

Peugeot say they hope the 308 RC Z will be on sale within 2 years.
