Beauty is in the eye of the key-holder
Drivers of the cheap new Fiat Multipa, with its "challenging" looks, can breath a sigh of relief. They are not driving the world's ugliest car!
Following an online survey from cardata, that dubious honour has gone the SsangYong Rodius, a little known cheap new MPV from Korea.
More than 1,500 votes were cast in the survey, with the Rodius picking up nearly a third of them (29 per cent).
Commenting on the results, a philosophical cardata spokesman said: "Naturally, the results are very subjective.

"For example, everyone always notes the Multipla, but its design quirks continue to be a major appeal for many observers and buyers alike. One man's ugliness is another man's beauty."
Also in the running for the title of most minging motor was the new Mercedes Maybach with ten per cent of the vote. Meanwhile the PT Cruiser and Ford Scorpio each took eight per cent.
Luckily though consumers no longer have to compromise on looks to get a great price. For example the new Alfa Romeo GTV, which launched to wide acclaim for its stylish looks, is available at an online new car discount of over £7,000.
