Saab 9-3 2007 to get a new interior (25/08/2006 at 16:49:38)
New editions of the Saab 9-3 will boast enhanced interiors for all editions in the range, according to new reports.
Manufacturers state that instrument displays and controls have been given "cleaner and sharper" looks, which "improves" the driver experience.
Part of the "cockpit-inspired" experience includes conflating buttons and information displays into one main instrument cluster.
Saab says: "The main instrument dials and Saab-signature air vent controls are now also finished in matte chrome trim. The instrument graphics are given a sharper, clearer look, while another Saab-typical feature - green instrument illumination - is retained."
The car will also come with a choice of three media systems, all of which include CD player sound systems.
Top of the range is the Saab Infotainment Plus, which includes satellite navigation, a colour touch-screen and voice control.
Although the new edition will not be out until next year, motorists interested in the Saab 9-3 can buy current editions now available with new car finance deals such as personal contract purchase offers.
