New Vauxhall Vectra gets improved spec
Details of the new Vauxhall Vectra range have been released and indicate a much higher standard specification at largely unchanged prices.
The new range will be available from October when the new Vauxhall Vectra Exclusiv model will replace the existing Vectra Expression. On top of the current Expression spec, the Exclusiv will come with air conditioning and six airbags as standard.
The new Vauxhall Vectra range will keep the Life, Design and Elite variants, while a sporty new 246bhp VXR model, complete with alloy wheels front and rear spoilers and extended side skirts, will join the range.

The spec upgrade will occur throughout the range with the new Vauxhall Life receiving automatic air-conditioning and the Design boasting a set of rain sensitive windscreen wipers. The flagship Elite will come complete with a sporty body kit and satellite navigation system.
The upgrade in standard spec should help the new Vectra as it tries to win customers from rivals such as the Vauxhall Bora, Toyota Avensis and this autumn's new Ford Mondeo.
