New Vauxhall Vectra VRX estate gets the nod

Vauxhall has reportedly developed a cheap new diesel version of the new Astra VXR.

The new Vauxhall Astra VXR is available as a three-door Sport Hatch and a five-door Hatchback.

The new VXR will be launched in spring 2006 and prices and trim levels will be confirmed later this year. It is expected to go on sale in the UK towards the end of 2006.

The cheap new Vauxhall Astra VXR currently has eight specification levels and aims to cater for all tastes and styles. It has been extensively tested at Germany's Nurburgring circuit and the 2006 version will be fitted with a new front air intake for the powerful engine, Auto Express reports.
