The New Fiat Bravo

The new model Fiat Bravo is on sale from this July in the UK after an absence of five years.

The Fiat Bravo is available from launch with five engine types – three 1.4litre petrol engines with 90bhp, 120bhp and 150bhp plus two 1.9 litre diesel engines – an 8v 120bhp model and a 16v 150bhp version.

It also comes in a choice of five trim levels with the entry-level model featuring electric front windows, remote central locking, six airbags, front fog lights, a CD player anti-lock braking and electronic brakeforce distribution. The Active trim level also includes air-conditioning and adjustable steering wheel and drivers seat.

The next trim level, Active Sport gets a leather sport steering wheel and gearknob, sports seats and pedals, a rear spoiler, front armrest plus 17" alloys. The Dynamic trim level offers a leather steering wheel, electric rear windows, dual-zone climate control, 16" alloy wheels and MP3 connectivity with controls on the steering wheel. The top level trim, Sport, includes a bespoke interior trim, sports suspension, ESP, cruise control, a rear spoiler, chrome tailpipe plus the MP3 player as above.

Auto Trader recently tested the new model Fiat Bravo and commented ‘Overall, Fiat has achieved considerable success in meeting their big aims with the Bravo – beauty, safety and performance. However, there is a lot of competition in the family hatchback market with the likes of the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra and VW Golf as rivals.
