Peugeot has recently launched its successor to its extremely popular 206 CC - the 207 Coupe Cabriolet. Available in two trim levels, Sport & GT, the new 207 CC comes in a choice of two petrol engines or one diesel engine. The two petrol engines are a 1.6 litre 16v giving 120bhp and a 1.6 litre 16v THP engine producing 150bhp. The diesel engine is a 1.6 litre, 16v HDi giving 110bhp.
207 Coupe Cabriolet model, the new 207 GTi model and its new 4007 4x4 model, Peugeot is also set to launch a new concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007. The Outdoor is a concept of its 207 SW Estate model. The concept car features split-opening rear hatch, a wrap-around rear windscreen and panoramic glass roof.
Peugeot has recently announced the launch of 2 new models – the 207 GTi hot hatch and the much larger Peugeot 4007 – which is set to be Peugeot’s first off-roader. With a 1.6-litre, 175bhp turbo engine, the new Peugeot 207 GTi is aimed at competing against the likes of the Vauxhall Corsa VXR and the Renault Clio 197. The 207 GTi can do 0–62mph in 7.
Peugeot is introducing a new petrol engine to its highly popular 207 range - with 2 new models being introduced using the new engine - the 207 Sport 1.6 16v 120 and the 207 SE 1.6 16v 120. The new engine will give 120bhp and is set to replace the current 1.6 litre/110bhp engine.
