New Mini Causes A Stir

Knowsley Safari Park's lions are taking a particular interest in the adventurous New Mini. The park's lion keepers have noticed that while the big cats tend to ignore most of the visiting vehicles the nippy little New Mini is causing quite a stir. It seems that the bright colours and unique design of the car ignites their desire for the hunt.

New Mercedes R-Class Based Vision R 63 AMG

Based on the new Mercedes R-Class the fully tricked up new Vision R 63 AMG will be debuting at next weeks Frankfurt International Motorshow According to the manufacturer, the new Mercedes AMG offers the driving experience of a thoroughbred sports car with a 0-60 time of approximately five seconds and a limited top speed of 155mph.

Mazda To Release New Models

Car maker Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that it will premiere its Mazda MX-Crossport new car in Europe at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month. The Mazda MX-Crossport has an "aggressive off-road look", with a lower grille opening and powerful front bumper similar to the Mazda RX-8.

Two New Citroen C2 Superminis

Two specially modified Citroen C2 superminis are set to star at this year Citroen's highlight for many of the tens of thousands of mod-crazed visitors will be the specially commissioned C2 Ninja with its 150bhp turbo charged engine, steroid pumped body kit, 18" alloy wheels and whale tail of a spoiler.

Ford Focus Strong Sales is the UK

The new model of the Focus has proved to be particularly successful in Ford's line-up as it also ranked as the best-selling diesel model available. Meanwhile, Ford's general position in the marketplace has proved to be strong after 347,550 of its units took up 14.2 per cent of the total market.

No need for motor trade licensing says OFT

In its report, the OFT report maintained that it had a "stringent code" in place for dealing with unscrupulous practices, rejecting claims for mandatory licensing from the Trading Standards Institute. It pointed to initiatives such as its consumer code approval scheme, which gives a seal of approval to bodies that meet their requirements.

With the brand new Ford Mondeo model due to go on sale from June this year, several leading car magazines have been trying it out. WhatCar? recently reviewed the new Ford Mondeo.
