Toyota sets a new Standard in RAV4 safety

Toyota has updated the new 2017 RAV4 model with safety in mind and now includes the next level of safety technology as standard. From now on the RAV4 will come with TSS or Toyota Safety Sense as standard on all models excluding only the entry level Active, where the TSS option is a £1,060 extra.

New Nissan Qashqai tyres reduce CO2 emissions

Nissan UK is pleased to announce that new Qashqai models that have the 18 inch alloy option will now feature from new factory fitted low resistance tyres that reduce the CO2 emissions, improve efficiency and reduce the cost of running and owning a new Nissan Qashqai throughout the range. The improved tyre design will drop the CO2 figures and improve the fuel consumption or miles per gallon.

Google’s autonomous car is now able to go it alone

Up until now any company wanting to test fully autonomous cars have only been able to do so on private property. The current law states that if the autonomous cars are used on public roads then a technician must be present along with normal controls like a steering wheel, brake and accelerator pedals, so the car can be taken over and driven safely in case of an emergency.

The new Honda Civic Type R Prototype has been revealed at the 2016 Mondial de L’Automobile in Paris, offering an insight into the styling of the next-generation Civic Type R that will be officially launched in 2017.     The exterior is wrapped in a special brushed aluminium finish which is highly reflective, creating a unique look to the performance prototype.
