New Saab 9-5 set for launch
A revised new Saab 9-5 has been added to the burgeoning list of cheap new cars that will be unveiled at this year's Frankfurt International Motorshow.

According to the manufacturer the car builds on the core values of sporty driver involvement and progressive Scandinavian design.
The all-new front end is where this "progressive design" is most noticeable, giving the new Saab 9-5 a much less angular face which is not a million miles from the Seat range.
Inside and a redesigned dashboard is complimented by updated trim and upholstery.

Under the bonnet the new Saab 9-5 offers a range of new options from the 150bhp 1.9-litre TiD diesel engine to the new Saab BioPower, which can run on a high-blend mixture of bioethanol and petrol. For the less environmentally friendly speed junkies a booming 260bhp 2.3-litre Aero model should do the job.
Available in saloon and estate models, refined chassis dynamics also offer improved control and sportier handling. According to the Scandinavian manufacturer's PR team the new Saab 9-5 should appeal to customers who "value modern, progressive design and a rewarding driving experience".
