Renault unveils sporty Megane
Renault has raised the curtains on its new 225 hatchback at the Birmingham International Motor Show.
Eagle-eyed fans will notice that the 2006 version of the cheap new car has undergone the same tweaks to its styling as was seen with standard hatches.
The sports edition will come with new spec upgrades including climate control, full leather upholstery and a powerful 60W audio system.
F1 enthusiasts might be tempted by the FIA Formula 1 special edition model to commemorate Renault's success in last year's championship.

The car aims to combine a motor sports feel with practical qualities for everyday transport.
It uses a Cup Chassis kit with Brembo front brakes, a disconnect facility for the ESP system and Dunlop SportMaxx tyres featuring updated dampers and springs all to create that sporty feel F1 fans crave.
Renault-buyers will be pleased to know that starting prices will remain unchanged, coming in at £18,600 for the three-door and rising to £20,000 for the five-door version.
