Two new Peugeots launch
Following an enthusiastic reception at the Geneva Motor Show the new Peugeot 407 coupe has been given its official launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Like its predecessor, the cheap new Peugeot 406, the new 407 coupe has been created alongside famous Italian design firm Pinifarina, and it shows.
Sleek, uncluttered lines trace forward from a steep rear windscreen to a distinctive nose, dominated by a gaping, grinning air intake. Elongated tear drop headlights and a large, centrally mounted badge complete the front-end "face".

Also on show is the new Peugeot 206 Sedan. A competitor to the likes of the new Ford Focus and cheap new Vauxhall Astra, the new Peugeot 206 sedan is an elongated version of the company's best-selling super-mini.
While Peugeot expects to make most of their new 206 sales in Eastern Europe and the Middle East it will be on sale across Europe. The new Peugeot 206's looks do not vary much from those of the existing models, with the same distinctive front vents etched into the bonnet.
One surprise that the new Peugeot 206 sedan does have in store though is the lack of a diesel engine option, only 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre petrol versions make it into the initial line up.
