Qashqai Sweeps The Board
It was just Seven years ago when the first Nissan Qashqai rolled off the production line, now it’s back again and this latest version hasn’t gone unnoticed. The New 2014 Nissan Qashqai has received one of the motor industry’s biggest accolades – the What Car? Car of the Year Award for 2014.
The Nissan Qashqai Carries on where its multi-award-winning predecessor left off, the all new Nissan Qashqai saw off competition to claim both awards, the Small SUV (£16,000 - £22,000) category, and the overall 2014 What Car? Car of the Year title.
The judging panel had selected the Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi Acenta 2WD as its preferred model from the new range, praising the refinement, very agile driving experience and really low running costs. The panel also commended all new Nissan Qashqai’s space, comfort and refinement, along with its squeaky clean engine range and less than 100g/km CO2 emissions. 
Here’s what What Car’s Editor-in-Chief, Chas Hallett had to say: “The new Qashqai brings polish and excellence to a class of cars that was already brimming with talent and tempting buys. It has an interior worthy of its stylish looks, and it makes a fine family car. It's fantastic value for money and a very worthy Car of the Year.”
Nissan were over the moon with receiving both awards. Jim Wright, Nissan Motor GB Managing Director, commented: “We’re thrilled that What Car? has named the new Qashqai as its 2014 Car of the Year. A huge amount of effort has gone into the design and engineering of the new car, and we’re all extremely excited about creating the template for the second-generation crossover.”

It’s features like the i-Key system and Nissan’s Intelligent Park Assist are offering drivers an intuitive driving experience from start to finish.
