Nissan UK has released a new version of their very popular and versatile SUV featuring a host of extra styling cues.
The new Platinum edition has been added to the current 2018 Nissan X-Trail lineup and will be available on all N-Connecta models. The platinum edition introduces extra style and technology to one of Nissan’s best-selling SUVs, the added options save the customer almost £1600.
What does the platinum edition Include?
The following enhancements are made to the Platinum edition
- Chrome mirror caps
- Chrome trunk lower finisher
- Side styling plate
- Front styling plate
- Rear styling plate
- Front over rider
Other styling cues for added dynamism on the 2018 Platinum Edition include sport pedals with a foot rest and 18-inch stylish metallic black ally wheels. For added technology and convenience a double USB socket is added for the second row of seats.
Total cost to the customer on the Platinum Edition is £1,999 including VAT, which is added to the price of the N-connecta. The savings on the actual parts alone is £828.
The new X-trail like the new Qashqai recently underwent extensive revision in the third quarter of 2017 to bring both models up to date and beyond with modern styling and next level technology, with also making provisions for the new Pro Pilot technology. Pro Pilot is Nissan’s semi-autonomous driving technology.
On top of the standard equipment featured on the Visia and Acenta X-Trail models the N-Connecta platinum edition also comes with a Nissan-Connect Evo 7-inch touchscreen featuring navigation and entertainment. The smart vision pack is also a standard fit that includes Traffic sign recognition, Lane departure warning, Front and rear parking sensors and Intelligent forward emergency braking with pedestrian recognition.
The Platinum Edition is on sale from the first of March ready for the new 18 registration plate released that same day. The new X-trail also comes with 3 years warranty with 3 years pan European roadside assistance like all new Nissans.
