New BMW 2 Series Coupe Preview

The BMW 2-Series car is replacing the 1-Series Coupe as part of restructuring of it’s model range. The vehicle’s platform is the 2nd generation 1 series BMW, so you will get rear wheel drive and some extremely potent engines.
At the top end of performance is the M235i model with a 3.0 litre (326bhp) twin turbo engine it will propel you from 0-60mph in under 5 seconds. If you looking for a more frugal, cleaner option then at the other end of the scale there will be a BMW 2 Series 218d model which is capable of up to 67mpg and offers low fuel emissions of just 111g/km, the top performing diesel will be the 225d. Note that that the 218d model may not be available at launch.
The brand new BMW 2 series is 5mm lower than the 1 series hatchback and with a new tuned chassis expect a much more responsive and exciting drive!
There are some practical improvements as well. The new 2 series is slightly longer and wider than the outgoing 1 Series Coupe model and offers more head and leg room. There is also additional boot space, 20 litres mopre claim BMW.
Lots of technology is available for the new 2 Series including the Driving Assistant Pack, which offers lane-departure and collision-warning systems.
The new 2014 BMW 2 Series model should be available in the first quarter of 2014 in SE, Sport, Modern and M Sport trim levels.
