Hyundai have pulled it out the bag with this new super cool updated SUV/Crossover, with new technology, prominent design and safety features.

The Brand-New Hyundai Tucson SUV is here. It stands balder than before and comes even more fully equipped as the previous model, offering elegant styling tweaks, extra technology and has a raft of new safety features. The New Tucson is available in four trim levels – S Connect, SE Nav, Premium and Premium SE.

New 2018 Hyundai Tucson Styling

The New Hyundai Tucson’s exterior styling has been updated with the addon of a signature cascading grille coupled with newly styled headlights, front bumper, fog lights and a new skid plate.

New Alloy Wheel Designs

The alloy wheel line-up has been updated with the addition of new designs to the range, available in 16”, 17”, 18” and 19” sizes depending on which trim you opt for. At the back, the Tucson welcomes a new rear light, with a reshaped bumper and exhaust pipe.

Three New Colours

To add to the existing colour range, three new exterior colours are now offered – Stellar Blue, Champion Blue and Olivine Grey.

Hyundai’s latest SmartSense technology is a revolutionary driver assistance system. All features are added to increase safety through active monitoring and responsive support when called upon.

Autonomous Emergency Braking

It’s Offered across the New Tucson line-up, the latest AEB system uses a camera at the front of the car and a radar sensor to monitor all traffic ahead. If this device spots a likely collision with another car, the driver will be warned, and the vehicle will be slowed or stopped automatically if required.

Lane Keep Assist

All New Hyundai Tucson’s feature the new Lane Keep Assist which takes advantage of the front camera to monitor the lines on the road. If an unintended lane departure occurs, the driver will be alerted and then the car will apply counter- steering torque measures to get the car back inside the lane if needed.

Hyundai’s New Tucson includes the latest advanced technology and space saving answers, making sure every commute is as comfortable as can be. The Tucson ranges from display audio on the S Connect model to the around view monitor system on the range topping Premium SE.

It can be found in the centre console and comes standard on Premium models and above, a wireless charging pad  at the Qi standard that lets you effortlessly charge your compatible Qi-enabled smartphone without having the faff of cables.

The all-new touch screen display with audio and DAB come with the latest Apple Car Play and Android Auto installed as standard across the Tucson line-up. The rear-view camera with parking display is also embedded within the console. When going for the SE Nav models or above you get satellite navigation and LIVE Services as standard.

This latest Hyundai Tucson presents a line-up of petrol and diesel engines with optional transmissions. If you’re running to the shops or towing a caravan the New Tucson has a fuel preference and power amount to match your needs.

New Hybrid System on 2.0 CRDi 185PS Premium or Premium SE 4WD Auto trims

This new system is coupled with a new 8-speed automatic transmission on the 2.0 CRDi 185PS Premium or Premium SE 4WD models – this soft hybrid system includes of a 0.44 kW/h 48-volt lithium-ion battery, a Mild Hybrid Starter Generator, a LDC converter and also an inverter.

When under normal acceleration the MHSG pumps 12 kW s of power to the engine, resulting in lower fuel consumption. This mild hybrid setup shifts automatically between mechanical use of the engine and energy recovery as needed.

New 8-speed automatic transmission

It Delivers painless, silky, automatic gear-shifts, this new 8-speed automatic box is exceptionally easy to use. Other transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission depending on which trim you go for.
