Rapid new Mercedes R-Class to debut
Based on the new Mercedes R-Class the fully tricked up new Vision R 63 AMG will be debuting at next weeks Frankfurt International Motorshow
The sporty new version of the six seater Grand Sports Tourer will have a massive 510bhp at its disposal, generated from an all new 6.3-litre V8 engine.
According to the manufacturer, the new Mercedes AMG offers the driving experience of a thoroughbred sports car with a 0-60 time of approximately five seconds and a limited top speed of 155mph. F1 style paddle gear shifters add to a luxurious interior which includes leather seats; DVD players with 7-inch, headset mounted screens; and a matt titanium finish.

As well as the eye catching Vision R, a short wheelbase variant of the new Mercedes-Benz R-Class will also make its debut at the show.
The Mercedes AMG variants are equivalent to BMW's Msports badge and are available on a number of the cheap new Mercedes range.
BMW meanwhile are extending their Msports range, which now includes a beefed up version of the cheap new BMW 1-Series.
Drivers of the new BMW 1-Series 130i M Sports will enjoy a leather steering wheel and sports seats, while a three-litre six-cylinder engine provides 265bhp to the hot hatch competitor.
