Hyundai has scooped the top honours in Auto Express' Driver Power 2010 customer satisfaction and reliability survey.

The i30 scooped the prize as the UK's most reliable car pushing the 2009 winner, the Jaguar XF, into second place followed by the Skoda Octavia.

Number 1
The i30 shot straight into the coveted number one slot in the Driver Power Top 100 marking the first time a Korean carmaker has won since the survey started in 2001.

The survey's finding are based on questionnaires completed by over 23,000 drivers.

Top brand
A strong showing from the Octavia saw Skoda scoop the overall win in the manufacturer category, with Lexus in second. The i30 helped Hyundai make the biggest overall leap, jumping 12 places to finish sixth.

Peugeot walked away with the wooden spoon as the lowest placed manufacturer thanks to poor performances by its 307 and 207 models.
