Ford To Launch New Galaxy

Published Date: 21st Feb 2006

Ford will be launching new models of its MPVs at the Geneva Motor Show next week, including the new Ford Galaxy.

It has been a bold decision to release to "distinctly" different MPVs on the market, but experts believe the move will pay off.

The new Ford Galaxy MPV has been developed from Ford's kinetic design technology and features a similar futuristic style to that of the S-MAX.

It will be bigger than older models, and can provide space for up to seven adults and luggage.

The new Ford Galaxy also features an innovative and intuitive new Human Machine Interface (HMI), which can be toggled from the steering wheel.

Both the Ford Galaxy and the new Ford S-MAX will be available in a 2.0 litre Duratec HE petrol engine with the S-MAX coming in a 1.8 litre or a 2.0 litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine.

Release dates are as yet unavailable, though buyers can expect the cars to come with new car finance deals such as personal contract purchase agreements.
