Ferrari have opened a purpose built facility where you can book an appointment with a specialised Ferrari tailor, be assured this will be the most expensive fitting of your life.

In the past, many of Ferrari’s clients, including legendary artists, film directors, writers and artists, have put their own unique personal stamp on their very own Ferrari. Perhaps the most famous example is movie director Roberto Rossellini who presented his new bride, the Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman, with a Ferrari sporting a unique grey paint that is now known in Maranello as Ingrid Grey.

Every day, stunningly beautiful cars, each one completely unique, continue to emerge from the same Maranello factory gates where Ferrari have their own tailor available to hire. This is because Ferrari offers clients not simply an infinite choice of colours but also an endless selection of materials, treatments and finishes. Thanks to Special Trims and Equipment programmes, every single Ferrari is unique. All clients are also invited to virtually configure their car at their closer dealership so that they can have a full preview of what their choices will look like.

Clients make their personalisation choices on site in Maranello where they are flanked by a personal designer who will assist them in creating their bespoke Ferrari right down to the tiniest detail. This will encompass everything from livery colours to cabin trims, finishes and accessories of which there is an unprecedented selection of materials, treatments and hues.

Owners can opt for luxury traditional materials, such as cashmere, or more casual, contemporary ones of the likes of denim. Needless to say, there are plenty of high tech options, such as carbon-fibre, too. The end result, however, is in each and every instance, a standard of exclusivity completely unmatched anywhere in the automotive sector. In fact, this is the first time many of the materials are being used or approved for use on cars.
