2021 Nissan Juke exterior and interior images

21 Registration Nissan Juke - Save Up To £4,734 Off List Price

The Juke is Nissan’s compact coupe-like SUV which boasts funky looks, particularly good interior build quality, and excellent levels of standard equipment and driver tech.

The Juke was once in a segment of its own and one of the first of its kind, a compact SUV, although it is not quite as compact these days. Rear passengers get a bit more leg room and the latest model also offers some extra boot space.

The Juke has sporty handling and is great fun to drive, there is a slight let down that the single engine, a 1.0-litre DIG-T turbo petrol engine (114PS) does not pack more of a punch, but Nissan have decided that efficiency is more important than pluckier acceleration. Still, the 0-62mph official figure is 10.5 seconds which does not make it a slouch by any means.

The 1.0-litre DIG-T petrol engine will likely be more than quick enough for most, but it does seem that Nissan have missed a trick here by not offering a more powerful engine option too.

Once you get the Juke in a twisty country lane, you will really find it comes into its own and the fun really starts, it offers plenty of grip and handles very well indeed, it’s great fun to drive.

There is plenty of standard equipment too and when you go up to the higher-grade models, you’ll get a long list of hi-tech driver aids, we discussed the Nissan Juke trim-levels and specs in detail here.

The Yaris maybe a great option for those looking to dip their toe into the electric hybrid car market. It combines a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with a lithium-ion battery, an electric motor and a CVT automatic gearbox.

The plucky hybrid powertrain produces 114bhp and it can get you from 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds and has a top speed of 109mph.
